My name is John Schwarz, but most people call me J or online, TheOneCalledJai.
I’m the founder of The People’s Union USA.
I’m not a politician, and I’m not some corporate-backed activist. I’m just a man who’s lived through enough, seen the truth with my own eyes, and decided to do something about it.
I was born in Flushing, Queens, New York in 1968, raised in the Pomonok projects. Life was rough right out of the gate. My home wasn’t peaceful , it was abusive and unstable. My parents divorced when I was still a kid. By 13, I was working to survive, not for dreams or goals, just to eat and get some kind of control over my life.
Through my teens, I hustled in delis, office jobs, whatever I could find. Eventually, I was running businesses in New York City, working in management, and playing music professionally. I made a name for myself as a drummer, and for years, that was my life.
At 26, I left New York and moved up to New England. My firstborn son was born shortly after, and from that day forward, he’s been the air I breathe. Those early years weren’t easy. I made decisions that came with consequences. I took full responsibility, proved myself, grew from it, and never looked back.
Over time, I kept building. I ran more businesses, helped others do the same, and eventually became a professional drum instructor for Drumeo — the world’s largest online drum school. But my lessons were never just about drums, they were about life, mindset, and breaking through mental walls.
I’ve been meditating since I was six years old. Nobody taught me, I found it on my own, trying to survive a home that didn’t feel safe. And as I grew, that practice deepened. I eventually walked away from everything else and dedicated my life to mindfulness, meditation, and helping people wake up to something bigger. I became certified in multiple disciplines and have spent years guiding others toward their own clarity and freedom.
And somewhere along the way, it all clicked.
Everything I had felt since I was a child, that this system is rigged, that we’re being used, that the human spirit was not meant for this kind of industrial slavery, was dead-on. It didn’t matter what someone believed, how they voted, or where they came from. This system was never built for us. It was built to exploit us, distract us, and divide us while the powerful get richer off our backs.
That’s why I started this movement. Not because I had all the answers, but because I had finally reached the point where doing nothing was no longer an option.
We deserve better. Our children deserve better. And I believe we can build something better.
The People’s Union USA isn’t about politics, it’s about people. It’s about pulling back the curtain, standing together, and refusing to let billionaires and corrupt politicians keep feeding off our labor, our families, and our futures.
If you believe in something bigger than this broken machine, if you’re tired of waiting for change,
then stand in solidarity with us.
We are building something real.
Let’s ALL do it together.
